Smashing Spaghetti!!

Last night, everyone tried to remove a wad of cash from a mousetrap with a piece of hard spaghetti. It was fun to see the noodles getting smashed one after another as the hope of winning the cash enticed each person to try. Some were very carefully trying to not set-off the trap...deeply concentrated on winning the cash, when WHAM, the trap destroyed their noodle!

Proverbs 1:10 says, "My son, if sinners ENTICE thee, CONSENT thou not." James 1:14-16 tells us, "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his OWN , and ENTICED. Then when hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren."

My challenge to you is this: figure out what particular will draw YOU away. Then ask God to help you to guard against it. Set boundaries in your path so that you don't have easy access to those things that keep tearing you down. Remember, "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, WHICH STRENGTHENETH ME!"
